Travelling Trailer, Glastonbury

This is a horsebox trailer conversion and some! The brief here was to provide all mod cons seamlessly integrated to quickly charge either from the mains, from the towing vehicle or as a stand-alone off grid solar setup. The job involved multiple dimmable 12v lighting zones, 12v usb sockets, 230v mains circuits, 12v compressor fridge, tv etc. The towing vehicle supply is from a bulky 70A Sterling Battery to Battery charger. Mains supply via RCD protected consumer unit to a 50A Sterling charger and an automatic changover switch which seamlessly integrates with the Victron 3kW inverter. All in all, this system gives most conventional house electric system a run for their money.
